sitting on the dock of the bay...

BALBOA BAY

for the longest time, i wanted to live by the water. 

i thought it would be romantic and peaceful since 

i love falling asleep to the sound of the waves lapping onto the shore.

but, now that i'm older--and wiser!--i realize that that dream is not something that I can pursue. 

as much as i love the water, i never learned to swim!! 

so, when there's a storm, it's high tide, and the water rises to a dangerous level, 

and i can't get out, i will probably end up drowning...  

so, best to play it safe and just visit the water when it's calm and then leave to go home to safer and higher ground... 

BUT, it sure is pretty, isn't it????

SO true!!

this is the right perspective...

especially when celebrities like Kanye West and Kevin Hart come to know the Lord... we should love and support them for their enthusiasm and passion to share their faith with everyone and, most especially, we should pray for them--that the Lord will keep their faith burning bright for Him and that they will bring honor and glory to God and be used mightily to bring more people to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ...
