Deuteronomy 3:2 "And the LORD said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon"
BACKGROUND from the Isidro Annotated Old Testament: Who was Og? He was an Amorite king who was the last of the giants who inhabited Palestine. He was the last of the Rephaim (v. 11). They are mentioned first in Genesis 14:5. Og was of great size. When he died, his bed or resting place was 13.5 feet in length and 6 feet in width. But, the amazing thing is that Israel conquered him and his kingdom because the Lord was with them.
